Very open sprint. TROPICUS (6) has been kept fresh for this and that looks a smart play. He was first up winning the G3 The Heath over this track and distance and did it very well from the front there, beating subsequent G2 winner Arkansaw Kid easily. He looks to have come back a better horse and while there's speed drawn inside, he can sit wide out of the chute and take beating again. NIANCE (9) can be a big improver second up. She drew wide in the G1 Moir Stakes fresh and went back which made her task impossible. She got home well late and her Caulfield form is very strong. Have to respect the class horse GIGA KICK (1) who resumes. He was just fair when weighted to win the G1 The Goodwood fresh last campaign but is off a shorter break here and we know his best would win. ARABIAN SUMMER (8) was good in the Moir fresh and will give a sight. BENEDETTA (7) is having her first run for the Maher yard and is classy on her day as a G1 winner, watch the betting.
